Fully carved in high relief, this amulet contains the images of scarab, Eye of Horus and ankh. The scarab was linked to Khepri, the god of the rising sun, and later with Ra. The ancient Egyptians believed that Khepri renewed the sun every day before rolling it above the horizon, then carried it through the other world after sunset, only to renew it again the next day. Each silver pendant comes with a 24" sterling silver chain. Last in inventory; discontinued item. Measurements: Please note that the image is not to scale. This item is approximately 1.5" long, and 1.25" wide (4cm x 3cm). This pendant contains 20g of silver and is .25" thick! The oversized ring bail has an inner diameter of 7mm.
